About The Event
The World Food Championships (WFC) is bringing you a one-of-a-kind, food-filled night of fun. "Licensed to E.A.T.™: Dothan." Guests will enjoy an in-depth look into the unique culinary world of Food Sport competition.
The best part? Guests will have the opportunity to put their new skills to the test. At the conclusion of the E.A.T.™ Methodology Training portion of the event, attendees will actually judge dishes offered up by two WFC Team Alabama Champions – Matt Germanson (Steak 2018 & 2019) and Mike Bryan (Seafood 2018). To start the evening, Mike will also serve up some tasty treats from his Southern Social Table & Tap along with complimentary beer and wine and live local music. The opening reception starts at 6 pm with the E.A.T. class beginning at 6:30 pm.
Special note for KCBS and SCA teams and judges, the evening includes discussion on the differences between the judging criteria in these competitions and WFC… potentially valuable insight if you’re heading to Dallas for WFC 2019 or want to broaden your food judging skill set.
This kitchen classroom experience is hosted by Alabama Coasting’s WFC Team Alabama, the Original Wiley Woks, and Southern Social. Upon completion of "Licensed to E.A.T.™: Dothan," you will join our growing community of WFC Judges and be mailed a certified Food Champ judges' GOLD CARD to prove it!
